What should I expect?

We are guests in your home, and we want you to be comfortable with allowing us into your household.  We start by doing a pre-inspection, where we walk through the home with you asking what you would like us to move, if there are any trouble spots, and if there are any questions before we begin.

• Pre-Inspection. We walk with you through your home to ask what you would like moved, if there are any trouble spots, and if you have any questions before we begin.
• Wall and Furniture Protection. We place corner guards on corners, furniture, and walls to protect against damages.
• Pre-Vacuum. We pre-vacuum areas when needed.
• Pre-Treatment. We pre-treat areas with environmentally safe products in order to break up dirt and soil embedded in your carpet.
• Hot-Water Extraction. We clean with our advanced truck-mount hot water extraction system (400-500 PSI / 220 - 240 degrees), using filtered water and carpet refresher.
• Post-Clean Inspection. We complete a final walk-through to ensure all items were addressed.

What to Expect Post Cleaning

After the cleaning is complete, you should expect the carpet to take 4-6  hours to fully dry. We are happy to leave shoe covers  if needed for getting around the house.

To have the best drying results:

• Keep all ceiling fans on during the drying period
• Keep furniture off until carpet is dry to the touch
• Keep pets off (as much as possible) until fully dry – it won’t hurt them, but they drag in dirt!
• You can walk on the carpet after cleaning with clean shoes, socks, or shoe covers

Do I need to do anything ahead of time?

We ask that you move all small items from the floor, and if you have time do a quick vacuum of the carpets to be cleaned. If there are certain items you want moved, please let us know during our initial walk-through so we can prepare ahead of time.  Finally, if you have pets, please keep them contained during the cleaning process.  

How often should I expect to clean my carpets?

For most homes, we recommend once a year for high-traffic areas. You can always call us for a free estimate and we can let you know what frequency we recommend.
